After starting factory activity and creating direct and indirect employment field ، The migration from the surrounding villages and towns to the edge of the factory began and gradually became the official settlement, and even the name of this settlement was called the sugar factory؛ Gradually with the increase in population in 1375, the city of Nooshin (the name of Nooshin sugar brand of Urmia sugar factory) was established and now with 12,000 people, the population is near the factory. Part of the city's economy relies on sugar factory activity and is partly dependent on agricultural and livestock activity. The nominal capacity of the factory at the beginning of the establishment is 700 tons of beets per day and gradually, especially in the last twenty years, with the development of equipment and devices and the updating of production technology، Its capacity has been upgraded to 4,500 tons, and in addition, the establishment and commissioning of molasses sugar-sugar unit by chromatography has increased the efficiency of the product production.
